She dances under the moonlight,

her legs swing in a circle,

the perfect pose.

Her eyes closed,

she feels the moon watching her,

her only crowd,

the only one that has seen her dance.

She spins again and again,

smiling for the first time.

She jumps,

a graceful jump,

again and again.

She dances under the moonlight for all eternity.

Though it maybe a curse for others

it is a gift to her.

Spinning again and again,

she remembers her old life.

The hurt, abused, life she has gone through.

Now all she does is dance,

so freely,

so gracefully,

with no one to see her dance,

except for the moon.

But she’s fine,

to dance alone

to forget the past,

under the moonlight.
