I stood on the rooftop, wind whipping my hair into a frenzy.  I observed the dark city in silence, staring at the buildings silhouetted against the dark night sky.  So peaceful.  So serene.  So quiet. BOOM!  A loud explosion ripped through the night.  Fire rolled up into the air.  A thousand sirens shrieked in harmony.  I could almost feel the people screaming. It's deep in the night when I beg you to find me It's crowded in smoke and I need you to guide me There's  a crack in the world and I need you to see me I'm all out of words and I  need you to free me It's deep in the night filled with words left unsaid It's crowded in lies left dripping in red There's  a crack in the lens and a pound in my head I'm all out of words with no ground left to tread It's deep in the night and the voices they sing It's crowded with notes and the melodies ring There's a crack in the wall and the memories cling I'm all out of words where I used to be king   ...
